This is a matched set of four, which is great to find in old trade cards. This set is usually found one at a time with different advertisements on each. So to find a complete set of four, even unused, is great! Of course they will be sold as a set of four. The original colors are still very nice, and they do show some age. So please look closely at all seven large scans to see each one up close and personal. This poor fellow was being mistreated by some brats for sure. The information on the walls is interesting as well. The last two scans showing the fronts are different, and show it as the dastardly deeds happened. We all know that stock cards are the same age as trade cards, but were just never stamped with a service or business name. Some stores gave out cards and never printed anything on either side. Trade cards were only made to last a little while, and here it is 130 years later with them still together. Neat huh?
