Up for bid is a wonderful Victorian trade card for Niagara Starch. When you supersize image 1 you will better see the colorful lithographic illustration of an adorable young girl posing for her portrait. Above her are the words "Pure and Sweet" that may apply to both her and the product. The artistry is terrific and the colors are still vivid. The back of the card has information about this product that was offered for sale at the end of the 19th century. Measuring 2 3/4" X 4" in size, this was found among a large collection of Victorian trade cards. Victorian trade cards like this one are getting harder and harder to find--don't let it get away!

CONDITION
:
Expected light soiling with slight corner blunting.  A bit of surface and edge wear.  No creases or rips.  Some light brown glue stains on the back along with some patches of paper loss.  Clear image.  Vivid colors.  Nice condition for a 130 year-old paper antique!
