AND ALSO IN MY NEWER PK-232 MBX THE SIGN ON SCREEN ON MY COMPUTER CAME UP WITH THE INFORMATION SEEN IN THE INCLUDED PHOTO'S
IF YOUR PK-232 MBX TNC EPROM HAS FAILED, OR YOU HAVE THE OLDER PK-232 MBX FIRMWARE,
THESE MAY BE OF USE TO YOU.

Make sure your unit is an AEA Model PK-232 MBX.
Your Data Controller must be a PK-232 MBX and should say so on the upper right-hand corner of the front panel.
If your unit only says Model PK-232 on the front panel, then make sure that you have the MBX daughter board installed inside the tnc just behind the THRESHOLD potentiometer.
If the serial number of your PK-232 does not begin with the letter “M” and is below 45,933 and you do not have a daughter board installed, then you must contact Timewave Technology Inc. to purchase one.
I WILL INCLUDE A 3 PAGE FIRMWARE INSTALLATION MANUAL I FOUND ON THE INTERNET
THE EPROM SET WAS TESTED IN MY PK-232 MBX WITH
THE OPTIONAL DAUGHTER BOARD. AND MY NEWER PK-232 MBX WITHOUT DAUGHTER BOARD AND THEY WORKED 100%.
