    Etching, handcolored; image is full sheet size on sheet 10 1/2 x 8 inches (27 x 20 cm). At top centre of sheet is a very light mark barely visible from an old-fashioned paperclip which was used to attach the sheet of descriptive text to the plate; very good condition. With accompanying text sheet giving botanical information, where the specimen was found etc. Botanical details are included along the lower edge of the plate. Described in the accompanying text sheet as a native of New Holland, this is plate 304 from "The Botanist's Repository, Comprising Colour'd Engravings of New and Rare Plants Only" by H.C. Andrews (Dunthorne #8). This periodical publication was an early competitor to William Curtis's "Botanical Magazine"
