The bhi Radio Mate compact keypad for the Yaesu FT-817, FT-857, FT-897 will enable you to enjoy your radio even more. It has 40 memories, 20 pre-programmed and 20 filled with random frequencies. There is a direct frequency function with a special nudge feature that allows you to fine-tune the frequency on your radio directly from the keypad in the following steps: +/- 10Hz, 100Hz, 1KHz, 10KHz, 100KHz, and 1MHz.
The bhi Radio Mate compact keypad for the Yaesu FT-817, FT-857 and FT-897 is a robust, compact remote keypad that enables many of the common functions of these radios to be used more easily. Portable, mobile, and handicap operators will delight in the added ease of using their radios. The keyboard provides a number of fast and effective shortcuts including easy band change; direct modulation mode selection; one-touch memory function (40 memory locations for frequency and mode; press to recall, press and hold to store); simple and intelligent direct frequency input, direct frequency nudge function that allows you to fine-tune the frequency on your radio directly from the keypad in the following steps by pressing keys 1 - 6: +/- 10Hz, 100Hz, 1KHz, 10KHz, 100KHz and 1MHz; Swap VFO A/B, VFO A=B, and split VFO selection; and tune function enabling up to a 10 second carrier for tuning an antenna tuner. The Radio Mate requires no external power and connects to the DIN-8 ACC socket/CAT interface of the radios. A LED indicates the present mode of the Radio Mate with red for the memory mode, green for the direct frequency entry mode, and yellow for the modulation mode. An “ON/OFF” power switch is located on the side of the unit, and the keypad dimensions are approximately 152 X 102 X 25 mm.

GigaParts offers a 30 day warranty against manufacturing defects on all NEW items sold on eBay. Most items will offer a longer factory warranty, please contact the product's manufacturer for specific warranty information. GigaParts can only warranty items that are in NEW condition, unmodified, with the original packaging materials, manuals, accessories, warranty cards, and UPC tags in NEW condition. Items not in NEW condition should be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service.
Modifications void your warranty (especially radio MARS/CAP modifications). While radio manufacturers will typically take the cause of any problem into consideration, there is no guarantee that they will warranty your radio if it has been modified, even if the modification was not the cause of the defect. Modified radios do not qualify for direct replacement unless GigaParts performed the modification. We guarantee our MARS/CAP modifications will not void the manufacturer’s warranty for a period of 1 year. However damage caused by transmitting outside the ham bands may not be covered under warranty. Generally, radios that have been modified after purchase are not returnable.
If your order was damaged in shipping or appears to have been opened prior to delivery, please notify the delivery driver and report the problem to GigaParts within 2 business days. Claims for items missing from your shipment must be reported to GigaParts within 2 business days of delivery and the shipping box and all packaging materials must be retained until the claim is settled. Shipping cartons are designed to protect your item while in transit and damage to boxes or packaging materials is not grounds for a claim unless the actual item sustained damage.

GigaParts accepts returns for refund or replacement within 30 days of the original invoice date.
Defective items can be returned for a full refund or replacement. Items returned as defective will be tested to verify all claims. After testing, if the item is found to be functioning properly, the buyer may incur restocking and/or shipping fees being deducted from the refund.
GigaParts will provide a prepaid return label for defective returns so long as the item is shipping within the contiguous United States (lower 48 states). For products shipped outside of the contiguous United States (lower 48 states), the buyer is responsible for return shipping, even on defective items.
Non-defective returns for refund or exchange are subject to a minimum 15% restocking fee. If your order was shipped, refunds for orders shipped with free freight will be charged the shipping costs. Refusal of shipments may be subject to additional charges and refunds and exchanges for these items will not be processed until the shipment has returned to our dock. The buyer is responsible for any return shipping fee's for non-defective returns.
