    Description

    Offered is an unusually-elaborate Victorian six-panel mechanical invitation to a party. The front panel has a door, within an embossed border, which beckons “Come to my Party”. When the diecut door is opened (without turning a page), a full-color panel depicting six Victorian children and the message: “Welcome” is revealed. When that panel is opened, the backs of two diecut girls, who block some invitation content, are shown. When, the diecut girls are pulled down, a poem about hearing a knock on the door appears. The party time details appear on yet another panel.
