Description:
Our best selling Crystal Calibrator/Marker Generator with dual (AC & DC) power options, built into a precision laser cut 2 Tone (Clear & Green) acrylic case.
This version of our popular calibrator, provides full protection to the calibrator if you are intending to use this unit on the bench.
With openings cut in the case lid & side  to allow access to the potentiometer, headers, output socket and power jacks.
This modern take on the classic marker, provides 3, pin select-able outputs to give 100 KHz, 50 KHz or 25 KHz marks.
Based around a high accuracy (5 ppm) 1 MHz crystal oscillator, this frequency is then divided to provide the 3 output square wave  frequencies.
A variable  potentiometer allows the final square wave shape to be trimmed if needed.
The marker can be powered by either applying 9 - 20 V DC to the barrel jack (2.1 x 5.5 mm center positive) or if mounting in a tube based radio, the unit can also be powered by applying the heater AC voltage (6.3 - 7.5 V AC) to the blue screw terminal block. On board rectification and smoothing then feeds the  5 volt regulator.
Output signals are available from the built in RCA jack allowing connection to a radio, see the photos for more information.
