DESCRIPTION
This sale is for a 1/2 Doc Holliday Army chess set & 1/2 Doc Holliday Navy chess set. The photo only shows the 6 different pieces of each set, but all 32 pieces (16 pawns, 4 rooks, 4 knights, 4 bishops, 2 queens and 2 kings) are included. All bisque is fired to cone 04.
The following are the dimensions of each of the Army pieces (top row in 1st photo):
1 King - 5 3/4" tall
1 Queen - 5 3/4" tall
2 Bishops - 5" tall
2 Rooks (flag) - 5" tall
2 Knights (cannon)- 4" tall
8 Pawns - 3 3/4" tall
The following are the dimensions of each of the Marine pieces (bottom row in 1st photo):
1 King - 5 3/4" tall
1 Queen - 5 1/4" tall
2 Bishops - 5 1/2" tall
2 Rooks (dog) - 5 1/4" tall
2 Knights (eagle)- 4 1/4" tall
8 Pawns - 3 3/4" tall
The base of each of the pieces is
1 7/8
" in diameter.
