Crystal Tester with RF Output
Compact, built and tested Crystal Tester with RF output.
A great test tool for testing unknown and known crystals for frequency and oscillation, LED lights when crystal causes the circuit to oscillate,  if the crystal does not cause the circuit to oscillate, the LED stays off, a quick Go-No Go indicator.
Comprising a small footprint PCB with screw terminals for power and the test crystal. Small wire ended crystals can be attached directly to the  terminals, while for FT243 style crystals a pair of test clips (not supplied) can be used.
An RCA socket (color of socket may vary) provides the RF output of the test crystal frequency and harmonics, allowing connection to a radio, frequency counter or other test equipment & devices, see photos for frequency counter, spectrum analyzer & scope traces.
Small enough to carry into the field this unit allows you to test those Ham Fest grab bag crystals before you buy.
Approx Frequency range is for crystals above 1 MHz up to 60 MHz
