    Description

    Looks like it was designed to handle a fair amount of wattage.
    Can't be sure of how much.
    The switch takes a fair amount of pressure to turn it threw its connections
    but its not that difficult.  So its a pretty heavy duty switch.
    Could stand a good cleaning.
