    Additional www researching into the world of 19th century bottles and glass turned up pictures...
    ... of the blown glass self-pump devise:  It was a "male enhancement" penis pump, embossed at top:
    "Erie Medical Co., Buffalo, NY"  Clear glass, circa 1890 10” high, 2" interior diameter, base 2.75" across.
    The suction apparatus was for erectile dysfunction / ED, etc. The Erie Medical Co. dates from 1855 to 1897.
