    This is a March 1943 portfolio made by a Madison Avenue advertising company called Vincent Edwards & Company. It has 16 over sized pages of department store window displays. It is missing its original cardboard folder, just the 16 pages are present. Since this is from 1943 right in the middle of WWII some of the pages features WWII themed displays including some for  Women in the military including WAACS,  WAVES and American Red Cross Nurses. On the 2nd page are window display winners for the month including a display by Bergdorf Goodman in New York and Franklin Simon in New York. Other pages have 54+ different pictures of apparel displays from stores like The Broadway, Lord & Taylor's, Macy's, Kresge, The May Co, Blocks's, Altman's and Fredrick & Nelson. Other pages have patriotic displays which were important for stores to show their support for the war effort, a page of Spring displays, a page of Easter displays, a page on Easter Card display ideas, fixture ideas and more. 16 Oversize pages total. Pages measures 11 x 16 inches and all in great condition.
