    Description

    This amplifier is manufactured by Palstar, an Ohio company located in Piqua, OH.
    It is like new, but cheaper…00.00.
    It was purchased in March of 2021 from DX Engineering, another Ohio company.
    It has been used very little…with only about 10-15 hours of “on” time, and even less hours of actual transmit time.  All transmissions made with this amplifier have been either on 40 or 80 meters and all were SSB.  It performs flawlessly, and has always been operated per the manufacturer instructions and always with an appropriate external tuner between the amplifier and antenna.
    It easily produces 1000 watts of output with only 40 watts of drive power.
    The touchscreen is easy to learn and easy to use, and responds to the operator without hesitation.
    The RF sensing feature allows for easy band changing and reads out the transmit frequency and the amplifier power output on the touch screen display, which can be adjusted by the operator for the desired brightness
