What a cute piece!  You will find our little Yellow chick wearing his birthday hat, with a cake sitting in front of him.  I love that the cake has so much frosting...and check out the candle on the cake!  He is saying "Happy Birdie" to you - or whoever you choose to give this to as a gift.  This is a different Birdie than you normally see...this is a trinket box with a reversible top!  One side of the top looks like a regular gift and the other side has our adorable little birdie with all his colorful celebrations!  Enjoy this one - it will make you smile each time you see it.  Issued in 1992 as part of the Birthday Series.
