RARE Antique Vintage Victorian Edwardian Brass Shoe Store Mercantile Display

This is very unique! I have never seen another one like it!
It is a brass cutout shoe display for a mercantile store. I assume that it would be displayed by the cash register, but perhaps in the window.
I think it is quite old.
It is very detailed. It is perforated. The holes for the shoe strings go all the way through.
It sits on a brass base.
The tabs on the inside bottom need to be tapped down tight against the inside cover. They are a tiny bit loose so that the shoe will lean back if you don’t sit it up straight. I did not attempt to do it as I did not want to risk the tabs snapping off. It will sit up straight just fine as you see in the photos.
