    Description

    Nicely
    signed Grant Ward ( American: 1955-2018 ) lathe turned maple burl
    wood candle / voltive holder
    with live edges.  The bottom is signed Grant Ward and with the numbers "980". He specialized in using this 3000 year old technique of using a lathe. He lived in Jacksonville Fl. He and his wife started a Montessori school.

    Grant worked as a Sculptor and Wood Turner for 25 years traveling to Fine Arts & Craft Shows throughout the country.
    This beautiful  vintage wooden art piece stands at 5" on one side and as low as 3 1/2" around the other side. The bottom is 2 1/4".
    It weighs overs 9 ounces.
    It is in excellent condition.
