SCARCE MILW & ST. PAUL OLYMPIAN LENOX PRESENTATION CUP & SAUCER GIVEN TO HOSTESS

The streamlined
Olympian Hiawatha
operated from 1947 to 1961 transcontinental, and had Hostesses en route.  Sometimes the Hostess for a route would receive, as a remembrance, a souvenir cup and saucer like this...made by Lenox.  These are hard to come by.  This example is so close to perfect I hate to mention that there is one very tiny nick on the gold lip, which you can just make out as a white spot in the third photograph...this is tiny, barely a 1/16". Otherwise, as the photos reveal, this is in wonderful condition.  It has the MSP rectangular logo on the saucer and the word Olympian across the interior of the cup.  The saucer measures 5 3/4".  Check out my OTHER ITEMS/SELLER STORE.
