This sale is for a Sounds Sweet speaker which is famous for its ability to provide room-filling sound with little audio output from the source.  This speaker is used and there are some minor marks on the exterior wood finish, but nothing so serious as to catch the eye.  We connected the speaker to a couple of our receivers and to a handheld scanner.  The speaker tests well providing great sound with no buzzing and distortion.
We have used a personal Sounds Sweet speaker in our listening shack for 15 years and can give a personal impression that this speaker is exactly what it claims to be.  For most radios and communications speakers you will find that the speaker greatly improves the sound of your equipment.  It offers a deeper richer sound and does not have the annoying hiss associated with so many other communications speakers.  In addition, the bass reflex design is highly efficient so that even low audio output devices such as a handheld battery operated scanner can provide enough audio to drive the Sounds Sweet speaker.

The Sounds Sweet speaker has been out of production for about 5 years and the manufacturers site mentions lack of parts from the supplier. Since the duration of unavailability has been so long, we suspect that the speaker is not likely to be available as new in the future.  Unfortunately the only available source for this speaker is in the used market and these speakers do not show up for sale frequently.
