T. H. Nevin & Co Paints Trade Card Advertisement Pittsburg PA Black Americana

Description

Up for sale is an Antique Victorian Trade Card Advertisement for T. H. Nevin and Co, a paint company from Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. Circa 1870s-1880s.
The card features an illustrated graphic of an African American family at their home with the words "THEY ALL DO IT" at the bottom. The reverse side of the card has a sales advertisement for T. H. Nevin and Company Prepared Paints. There is an orange sticker of the same sales person overtop the original advertisement.
There is wear and discoloration to the front and back of the card and light bend/crease marks in the corners as shown in the photos. Otherwise the card is in good condition and displays very nicely. The card comes in a hard plastic protective sleeve as pictured.
The card measures approximately:
4 5/8" x 3 3/16"
