The Official Gem-Ingot AGATE

Description

In 1978 the Franklin Mint issued "The Official Gem-Ingots" as a limited edition set of Sterling Silver Ingots with an actual Gem Inset within each of 30 ingots. Each ingot represents a famous jeweler from around the world at the time.  Each ingot/gem weighs approx. 24 grams. Included is a photo copy of the original certificate and a copy of the original information contained on the brochure.
The name of the jeweler is embossed and the gem is inserted.
