Vintage original rare and hard to find NOS new old stock never used 1950's/1960's automotive auto car retail parts repair gas service station tire repair shop store display tin metal tire insert litho lithograph Esso Atlas tire sign. The tin metal sign reads "Atlas, Compare Quality, Compare Price". The sign measures 15 1/2" in diameter without the mounting tab flanges included in the measurement. With the tabs included it measures 21 1/2" across. One of the tab flanges has mounting instructions reading "For Attachment To Tire, 15" Tire - Bend Tab Back At Right Angle And Insert Into Tire And Fold Against Inside Of Bead, 14" and 13" Tire - Bend Tab Back Flat And Insert Into Tire And Fold Against Inside Of Bead, Bend Line". None of the 4 tabs have been bent. The sign has great lithographed yellow, red, and black colors and great graphics as pictured.
