Offered here is a beautiful vintage tie tack featuring the Grumman F4F (FM-2) Wildcat. Cannot confirm its age, but it was in a collection of items I acquired in an estate sale of a WWII-era Naval Aviator. It appears to be made of pewter or a metal with a pewter finish. It has great relief elements to it, and truly showcases the beauty of the Wildcat. It is in very good condition.
