Description
VINTAGE HEATHKIT GRID DIP METER 1950s AMATEUR RADIO HAM ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENTFound in estate cleanout, in basement, in what appears to be an original box. My best guess: this was bought at Woodward & Lothrop by a cub or boy scout pack and mailed as a gift to their den leader in Washington DC. There's a thank you note in the box. On one piece of paper included it says September 1958 in the upper right hand corner. This was definitely used, as evidence inside box implies. There's also a crumpled up page from a November 1973 Washington Evening Star.
I also plugged the chord into an electrical sock and
there was no power
, so does that mean it doesn't work? I don't know, except that these were learning electronics that I believe needed to be built and/or worked with.
See photos and I hope I'm in the ballpark.
Everything shown will be included, and box will be put inside another box for shipment (priority mail)
