Vintage MC Modern Framed Japanese Ando Cloisonne Warrior's Samurai Kabuto Helmet
What I have to offer for your viewing pleasure here is this beautiful original cloisonne enamel by Ando of Japan! Created by the oldest and still continuously active Japanese cloisonne company, Ando cloisonne has been the given to royalty for almost 2 centuries. This framed piece centers on a 5" by 5" plate with beautiful pearlescent background depicting a samurai warrior's headdress / kabuto / helmet in bright vivid hues of gold, yellow, green, blue, black and a wonderful pinkish orange tone. This will be a perfect fit for any Mid-Century Asian Modern themed setting as it is absolutely gorgeous! It has the original red and gold "ANDO Cloisonne" paper label. It is in superb overall condition for its age with a small discolored spot to the enamel below the helmet. It measures 9.75" long by 9.75" wide.
