I've been experimenting with MANY headsets and mic elements over the last few years.  This is not a kit, works great and ready to plug in and go with your radio.
Desktop unit features a gain/level control, removable stand with standard threads for boom mounting,
an electret element for great sound with nice audio
; I've been getting nothing but excellent 'ON AIR' audio reports.
Good Sound at -30dB sensitivity, XLR Cable, Unrestricted wide range audio 50Hz-16kHz.
Has an 8 pin round connector, 5 plus feet of shielded cable and PTT jack for a Hand or Foot Switch (switch sold separately)
Mic is about 6" long, stand is 6" high when open, 8" when folded up.
This will come fully wired for your radio, ready to go out of the box.
