"Air America Station" Hat - Tachikawa Air Base Japan 1957-1971

Description

"Air America Station" Hat, located at Tachikawa Air Base operations from 1957 to 1971. The hangar was located on the west side of the base near American Village and the Officers Club. The facility was  for airplane maintenance and supply for the Asia operations which included Vietnam, C-54, C-47,C118/DC6,  C-119 aircraft. The hat is new made by Port Authority brand with Velcro strap in the back, one size fits all.
